Packed Deionized Water, abbreviated as DI water, is a highly purified form of water that has undergone a comprehensive deionization process to remove most of its mineral ions and impurities. This results in a water product with exceptionally low conductivity and minimal ionic content. Raw water from a reliable source, such as distilled or reverse osmosis water, is subjected to pre-treatment steps. These steps can include filtration to remove larger particles, organics, and colloidal substances that might interfere with subsequent purification processes. We sell our packed DI Watter in 1, 2, 5, and 10 Liter Containers.
The deionization process involves passing the water through ion exchange resins or other ion-selective materials. These materials contain charged functional groups that attract and bind to the ions present in the water. The process can involve two main steps: cation exchange and anion exchange. The overall effect of deionization is to remove both cations and anions from the water, leaving behind purer water with a lower ion content. The Ph Value of our DI water is between 5.5 to 7.5. Our DI Water is commonly used in battery making and other industries. We use high-grade plastic packaging for our products. Chatterjee Industries specializes in manufacturing and supplying Packed DI water all over India. We are a Kolkata-based company and were founded in 1990. We also have Government Manufacturing Registration and SSI certificates.
